Kale Soup with Cheese

Soups are an indispensable part of Slovenian national cuisine, and next to mushroom soup in bread crust, edible bolete soup, beef soup, potato soup… also try this interesting kale and cheese soup.

Ingredients

  • 100 g bacon
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 500 g kale
  • 2 tablespoons Vegeta
  • 4 tablespoons cooked rice
  • 60 g parmesan

Preparation

  1. 1.
    Cube the bacon and fry shortly.
  2. 2.
    Add pressed garlic and pour with water.
  3. 3.
    When the water boils, add sliced kale and Vegeta and cook until kale gets soft.

Serving

Serve the cooked kale soup with cooked rice and grated cheese.

Advice

You can replace the rice with cubed cooked potatoes.
