Marinated sweet and sour kebabs

Sprinkle these golden grilled kebabs with chili pepper and cilantro, drizzle over with a little olive oil, honey and lime juice, and serve a BBQ lunch to remember.


  • 1 kg chicken breasts, deboned
  • 1 tbsp Vegeta No MSG Chicken
  • 2 chili peppers
  • 1 bunch of cilantro, minced
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp flower honey
  • 100 ml olive oil


  1. 1.
    Trim the chicken breasts and cut into cubes. Sprinkle with Vegeta Chicken and stir to coat evenly.
  2. 2.
    Thread the aromatized chicken cubes on skewers.
  3. 3.
    Drizzle with the juice of half lime and 50 ml oil, cover and leave to rest for about 30 minutes to one hour.
  4. 4.
    Cook on hot grill on all sides until nicely golden brown.
  5. 5.
    Transfer to a serving plate, sprinkle with minced chili pepper and cilantro, and drizzle over with olive oil combined with honey and the juice and zest of half lime.


Cover the kebabs and rest them for 5 minutes before serving.


Soak wooden skewers in water before use to prevent the wood from burning.
