Rice in Shiitake Sauce

Mushroom lovers, admirers of aromatic flavours, light food and a busy lifestyle – this is the right food for you! After you cook rice in shiitake sauce for the first time it will become your favourite part of the weekly repertoire.

Ingredients

  • 300 g rice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Shiitake sauce
  • 150 g shiitake mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 50 g onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 200 ml cooking cream
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons Vegeta
  • freshly ground white pepper

Preparation

  1. 1.
    Cook rice and stir in chopped parsley.
  2. 2.
    Wash and slice shiitake mushrooms. Fry onion and shiitake mushrooms in olive oil, add pepper and sauté until all liquid boils down.

    Then add crushed garlic, lemon juice, Vegeta and cooking cream. Boil briefly altogether.

Serving

Serve shiitake sauce with cooked rice and lettuce.

Any kind of mushrooms can be used for preparing this sauce.
